Great Basin Development was founded in 2003 by Wes Hays as a side business developing websites. After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with his Bachelors in Computer Science, he noticed the growing demand for professional company websites at a more reasonable prices. Since its inception, Great Basin Development has become one of the leading Internet solutions providers in Northern Nevada. Our commitment to bring to each project only the best in business professionals, design talent, and programming specialists has earned the company a loyal clientele base and stellar reputation within the community. Our dedication to our clients, desire to exceed expectations, and ability to remain up-to-date with the rapid evolution of software and internet advancements, has secured our longevity as a reliable, progressive company. As other internet firms have come and gone, Great Basin Development has continued to grow and acquire other businesses to further its skill set as one of Northern Nevada's most credited internet firms.
In April of 2005, Great Basin Development, in order to meet the growing demand for services, took on John Dell as a partner. John Dell has a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a long history in software development, system administration and scaling systems to meet their maximum potential.
In May of 2005, Great Basin Development implemented a full scale hosting solution for its customers to answer the increasing needs of both our technical team and our clients. By offering a hosting solution, we have been able to manage our own servers and provide more control and flexibility over the server environment.
In November of 2005, Great Basin Development became an LLC under the name Great Basin Solutions, LLC. which still does business as Great Basin Development.
In February of 2006, Great Basin Development acquired Tracy Internet, LLC., a California-based a reputable web design and hosting company. The merged brought to Great Basin Development a step closer to broadening our national presence and its areas of expertise.
